Senator Lincoln Chafee, Republican, Rhode Island voted against the war. The only Republican Senator who voted against the war. Good for him.
In the House, six Republicans --
Ron Paul of Texas;
Connie Morella of Maryland;
Jim Leach of Iowa;
Amo Houghton of New York;
John Hostettler of Indiana; and
John Duncan of Tennessee -- joined 126 Democrats in voting against the resolution. edition.cnn.com

Chafee criticized the administration's shifting justification for going to war: WMD, Threat to the US, now he was a very bad man.. He noted that Wolfowitz only mentioned WMD one time today, in contrast to his entire argument based on WMD, pre war.
When Wolfowitz kept throwing around 9/11 as justification, Chafee read Wolfowitz' statement in 1998 where he urged regime change, as chairman of PNAC.
Wolfowitz admitted he has been in favor of regime change since the '91 gulf war. But 9/11 supposedly convinced him that it was necessary to use massive force.

Wolfowitz said they are shutting down the DOD gambling project. Bill Nelson and Barbara Boxer asked who was behind it. Nelson asked if it was Poindexter. Wolfowitz claimed he had just learned about the program in a newspaper, that he didn't know who was behind it, nor how much was already spent. sure.

One of the categories to bet on was to be the Fall of the Jordanian government. Interesting.
That won't be long, as soon as a Palestinian state is born, which will be by December 2003: an independent Palestinian state with provisional borders.

The PA has said many times they want one Islamic state with no borders, including Jordan, Syria, Lebanon. First Jordan. After Israel is destroyed of course.
