Ice, good move! I was thinking in those terms after today's great run-up, but being inexperienced didn't want to mention it. I wish Apple well. If they grow market share again and persuade more software companies to write for them, I may consider a Mac for my next computer. At present I see a company that can't make up its mind. To license or not to license? To install Steve as CEO or not? (I think it would be a mistake!). They need an unsentimental guy like Lou Gerstner of IBM. They don't need a visionary! In fact, shortly after Lou came to IBM in 1993 (I think) he said 'the last thing IBM needs right now is another vision'. So your short position will be profitable, as soon as the Mac convention is over and investors reflect that $150M from MS does not address Apple's fundamental problems. I predict you'll make a ton! GM
