You can call it whatever you want, the market has experienced a rally recently, the only dispute is whether it is short term or presages the advent of another bull market. Similarly, the recession ended awhile back, whether you realize it or not. And there is no indication as yet that we are in a depression, which would depend on a succession of recessions undermining spurts of growth, rather like a car engine that catches then stalls, catches then stalls. It is too soon to tell what long term trends will be, but there is no reason to believe that the stimulus will be ineffective, the only argument is over the long term effects of deficits.......
