JF, Clinton, as President, had the same interest as Bush, maybe a little less intense because of the timeframe, and because he didn't come from the industry. Once again history is being rewritten. Clinton's real motivation for attacking Iraq was to distract the public from the Lewinsky scandal. Not even the most vocal of Clinton's opponents think he wanted oil. Tenchusatsu
