"My argument has been that moral ideals exist"

And why is your tone so hostile when I seek to understand the basis of your belief? I asked you if you believed that your moral "IDEALS" originated outside of humanity. It is an important question because if they did NOT originate outside of humanity then they are relative and subjective. So I am trying to forge a point of agreement or disagreement from which we may proceed.

The point of our discussion was to explore whether or not moral ideals were Absolute (invented by a supernatural being or existing without cause) or whether they were human in origin. I will remind you that we have no disagreement on whether or not human individuals and social groups have moral codes and rules...and thus no rationale for further discussion on that basis. So if you do not wish to discuss the origin of these codes--no problem. Just be an honest fellow. Thank you.
