<Palestine is an excellent example.>

Yes, it is an excellent example, of a place where lots of young men have no jobs, nothing productive to do. Let's look at the reasons for this.

Here's a specifice example:

Let's say you live in the city of Qalqilya. Years ago, you used to be able to commute to a job outside of town, or get to your olive groves nearby, or sell your goods in Israel and the West Bank. Now, however, the Israelis have put up an 8-meter high wall, that totally surrounds the city. The only exit is through a checkpoint manned by Israeli soldiers. On good days, you wait for hours to get through. On bad days (and most days have been bad, the last couple of years), the Israelis arbitrarily, without notice, close the checkpoint. Sometimes, it reopens the next day. Sometimes, not for weeks.

Now, who is responsible for all those unemployed young Palestinian men, in Qalqilya? And who is responsible for their rage?
