I can't believe that the only metric you can use to evaluate this man's performance is "honor, honesty, justice, and human decency".

No there are others but I figure clinton, bush etc. would all pass the pre-requisites. Once in office they have proven that they have sufficient political savvy and general characteristics to handle the mundane requirements of office.

I disagree with you on #1 of your list and don't feel well enough informed to get into an argument on the others.
