Here's a link on MSFT/AAPL

I'm not quite as optimistic about this investement as others seem to be. This looks like Microsoft trying to strengthen its grip on the internet and everything else. You know the line about keep your friends close but your enemies closer?

I wouldn't be surprised if Billy boy's intentions are nothing more than to put Apple away for good while ensuring a nice migration path to Windows. I really think this will ultimately cost Apple sales as Microsoft ports Mac OS features to Windows.

Remember $150MM is chump change to Microsoft - a very small price to pay for what little competitive advantage Apple still holds over Microsoft. Also, remember what Microsoft has done to other companies that it has bear hugged (Sybase, IBM come to mind).

Bottom line: Sell AAPL short, and don't get sucked into buying software companies on the basis of this dubious endorsement.

Just my paranoid view to sober up the place a little....you're welcome.
