Thanks.
Now I have to go to the gym tonight. Exercise helps too...
Also I should schedule a full work up, with lab tests, all I had was a quick test at a health fair.

Pentax develops artificial bone compound Will remove need for bone grafts, transplants
theinquirer.net
JAPANESE FIRM Pentax said today it has made a breakthrough in artificial bone technology using a compound to help heal fractures quicker.
The compound is based on hydroxyapatite combined with collagen fibres.
In a statement, Pentax said that when the artificial bone is transplated to the weak or broken section, bone bud cells gradually absorb the compound, displacing the artificial fibre.
The technology will mean that a patient's own bone won't need to be harvested from another part of her or his body and grafted into the space.
It will also be possible to alter the strength of the compound, depending on the position of the bone, by changing the size of the sponge like cells inside the material.
The material will displace other current practices such as inserting titanium and other alloys, or ceramics. But the material won't be widely available for another three to four years. Pentax is plunging ¥550,000,000 into the project, it said. µ |
