John, sometimes I wonder if the "Times" editors read what they publish. Here is a lead story, front page, from today's paper. Headlined, "Bush Backs Bid to Block Gays From Marrying"
This two paragraphs are in the body, exactly as shown.

So the second paragraph is directly contrary to the one above it. What are they thinking? That we are too stupid to read past their opening? SLATE picked this up. Aaagh! |
