TradeLink Signs Letter of Intent to Acquire Nexwave Communications

MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 6, 1997--

New York-Based Company Offers Web Sites, Access, Long-Distance

and Business-to-Business Network Solutions

TradeLink International Inc. (OTC:TRLK) announced Wednesday that it has entered into a letter of intent to
acquire Emap Inc., doing business as Nexwave Communications, a New York-based multi-faceted
communications company. Nexwave will broaden TradeLink's suite of communications products and services
by adding internet access, web site design and development, business-to-business online marketing
consulting, and other network solutions.

Nexwave is on target for gross revenue of approximately $200,000 during calendar 1997, and is projected to
more than double that figure next year on its own. By joining forces with TradeLink, Nexwave will have the
opportunity to reach $1 million in gross revenue in 1998, while increasing revenue of TradeLink's other
subsidiaries through synergistic activities. Nexwave will form the hub for integrating and networking all
products and services of TradeLink's subsidiaries, including the long-distance, wireless and cellular products
and services presently offered by TradeLink's subsidiary, Bridgeport Telecom Inc., as well as the rich panoply
of communications products currently provided by Nexwave.

The purchase price for the acquisition is $200,000, and will consist of a combination of cash and stock. Current
management of Nexwave will remain pursuant to employment agreements, and are expected to be key
participants in TradeLink's further growth and development. The parties are optimistic that this transaction will
be consummated by Oct. 31, 1997, to coincide with the opening of an internet cafe and high-tech showcase
being launched by Nexwave, although there can be no assurance that this acquisition will close or when.

Richard Herbst, president of TradeLink, commented, ``We believe Nexwave will be an essential component in
developing TradeLink's strategy to offer networked applications for global marketing solutions.''

TradeLink, is an interactive communications company dedicated to bringing marketing and communications
solutions to domestic and international business.
