What would make me happy would be an administration that respected the lives of our combatants. One that trusted the american people enough to be truthful and open with them at times when their sons and daughters may be put in harms way. One that doesn't blow the cover of a CIA operative in a foolish vendetta to scare those who may want to tell the people the truth. One that takes Nat'l security seriously and funds things like air marshalls and gives local governments supplements to help defend us against terrorists. One that is indignant when Israeli bulldozers bury one of our own alive. One that doesn't think Afghan or Iraq can be made safe and rebuilt on the cheap. One that truly believes in human rights and conducts foreign policy with that as priority #1 with trade # 2. One that doesn't tell the rest of the world to shove it, but rather understands that when we sneeze the rest of the world catches cold and we should listen with respect and humility at what they might have to say. One that realizes that workers and middle management are what drives our economy and has a true interest in their health and security. One that is not afraid to fund education with dollars instead of slogans. One that is fiscally responsible. If the surplus belonged to the people than the deficit is also our burden.
