I'm sure that's a relative term. :) Folks in the Sonora desert might not see it quite the same way. Although I believe they've at least gotten a bit of rain recently.

Here in Central Oregon, we are also bone dry. The last week has been relentlessly dry. This is the perfect setup for dry lightening strikes to create some big burns. The next couple of weeks should be "interesting".
