Mephisto, Poindexter may be a lightening rod for our concerns about civil liberties and the liberties that some market-mad RWEs are taking with our future. But there are other concerns that we ought not to forget. Up until today, I thought that there might be some hope for getting at the truth of 9/11 through the court system. Specifically a case in the Southern Manhattan District Court called Mariani v. United Airlines. Here's a very troubling article that I haven't been able to independently verify, but if this claim by Tom Flocco is verified, what we have is way beyond "a cancer on the Presidency" as John Dean described the Watergate cover-up 30 years ago. What we might have today, in the case of the cover-up of the 9/11 tragedy is the whole enchilada. A secret government that has turned feral and is perfectly willing to attack the citizens of the U.S. for purposes of exerting the ultimate control over the fate of the planet...
