Joel:

I trust that your efforts to use me as a market indicator will be suitably rewarded.

I continue to believe that we will see one more leg to the Great Bull Market, followed at the end of the decade by something very nasty. I am happy to go on the record now that we have seen the low for the 2000-2002 correction. I expect the Dow and the Nasdaq to finish 2003 higher than they are today. Gold will inevitably lose its luster as the masses rediscover tech.

SI is a bad habit. A time waster with no payoff. Nevertheless, it has an addictive quality that I find hard to explain. Think of my current reappearance as the backsliding of a quitting smoker. One of these days I will succeed in finally kicking the habit.
