Here's the real Road Map:
1. Jews have overwhelmingly given votes and money to the Democrats, in U.S. elections.
2. The Christian Zionists are going to change that.
3. These American fundamentalist's politics lie well to the right of Sharon (DeLay rejects any Palestinian State, while Sharon accepts it).
4. So, Bush will pretend to push the published official Road Map, while doing nothing to stop the Israeli colonization effort (the Wall, the growth of settlements, the seizure of land).
5. Sharon will pretend to comply with the Road Map (take one settlement down, put it back up the next night, repeat as needed).
6. Bush will continue to insist on the unilateral disarmament of the Palestinians, as a precondition to any letup of the economic/political/military pressure on them.
7. When the entire Palestinian population is imprisoned behind Walls (this will entail moving some of them), then a Palestinian Bantustan/Reservation will be offered them.
8. when they submit, Bush gets a Nobel Peace Prize during his second term, for his Good Works. |
