Well, Cisco voip phones just lost Merrill so I agree there may be some room for improvement there, however Cisco has the voip + wifi phone package to offer, and I don't think NT has that. This article says Avaya and 3com are moving in at Merrill (not NT).

If I were a CIO managing a move or a new office infrastructure, I would want the wifi option for some of the mobile staff, maybe the support people and some executives. So in the breadth of product I think Cisco has an edge.

In the end, an investment in NT vs. Cisco probably has to do with risk tolerance or investment timeframe I would think. NT is really beaten down, thats for sure.
