JF, For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. The whole course of human history is filled with reactions that were anything but "equal and opposite." Bottom line is that there can be no peace without victory. And before you fall off your rocker again, note that the victory need not be a militaristic one, either. It's made a turn in that direction. That's about as meaningful as saying Hillary's plan for universal health care is a "turn in the direction of communism." Technically true, but fundamentally alarmist. Tenchusatsu
