The liquidation was inevitable. I have not traded the stock for about two years. I remember that Gilder pumped the company a week or two before the IPO. The company was able to raise the offering price from a range of $17-19 to $27. It peaked at $154. Gilder put another $100 million in their pockets. Just another piece of dotcom history...
