There is a lot of talk about what marriage represents (in the traditional sense). The problem is, that the reality of what we are living with (for a large percentage of Americans) has little or no baring these traditional foundations of marriage. So, when the same people object to gay unions, they/we come accross as hypocritical.

Time for the traditionals to "straighten up" and walk their talk or shut up. I agree the pope is doing his job. His community is not. You Catholics need to fire him or follow him.
