Huh? You really had to stretch to pull out that analogy, and to throw in a Democrat for flavor.

You may think the war was a trivial affair from a policy standpoint, I disgree. Bush has made it clear in a dozen speeches that he will go after (his definition of) terrorism whenever and wherever, without provocation.

The other thing worth mentioning is that Iraq was the most secular state in the Mideast, and for that could be viewed as a stabalizing influence in the region. Do you think that the government in Iraq, in five years, will be secular? Or do you think they will go the way of Iran?
