WE will decide where American responsibilities start and end, not Finland. We don't run Finland; Finland doesn't run the US. the 2-year-spell of looking over your shoulder Uh, gee, the Founders did that intentionally. They thought having a legislative house quickly responsive to the people was a good idea. I really don't think history has proven them wrong. And again, a Presidential system is not the Devil Incarnate. And parliamentary systems are not guaranteed Paradise. You show a rather limited comprehension in believing that. Both have worked and both have failed. Both have their good points and both have their bad points. And the same can be said of 2-party versus multiparty systems. All of the above can function as real working democracies. That's the goal and the single most important point.
