Terry, I really have no idea about the “strange” illness, suspicions, yes.

First & foremost, I would look to the US military. My experience with the government’s continual denials in the cases of Agent Orange in Viet Nam is the main cause of my suspicions. However, there are other reasons; remember the strange illness from Gulf War 1…the government had to finally concede that the uranium enhanced tank shells were “probably” the cause, remember the fuss over the antidotal shots for (what was it) nerve gas & the quality of some of it…and it’s after affects to some?

Some people don’t know, and maybe the military has changed its policy, but in my time (‘66-’70) in the service you could not refuse inoculations they deemed necessary. On one of my R&R’s, my shot card was short a typhus shot, got it in DaNang which turned out to be a bad batch. Was sick through the whole R&R…was really pi$$ed. <G/NG>
