In the mid-80's did you happen see the amazing 4 to 6 hour PBS presentation about the Turkish genocide of the Armenians. Much of the story was narrated by a woman who'd lived through that holocaust as a girl. She returned to her native land from America to follow the route of horror she and her family had witnessed and been victims of. Among her family members, she had been the sole survivor. A million Armenians were slaughtered by the Turks. The PBS production was both shocking and compelling and made me wonder why the facts of those atrocities remain virtually unknown.
