Your suggestion is that in due time we will spent most of our time not working. I am doubtful that such a situation will happen. Earning money is a cornerstone of capitalism, and no one will pay you to play ball as an amateur. Jobs are jobs and you must produce something other people need and you can sell it not only in domestic markets but worldwide. At present what we do in the US competitive and needed world wide is shrinking fast, and thinking we will earn our living only from intellectual property is quite arrogant on our part, other people are as smart as we are. US must produce if it is widgets or foodstuff aside from software and movies
