The trend is our friend. 2 major polls have Bush under 55% approval; 2 other major polls have him at 55%. His approval has dropped from the 80s and is headed right back to 51% where is was before 9/11. There will be a close election. I expect to see a major poll approval rating below 50% before the end of the year.
