Given that majors must add reserves the size of Las Cristinas every two years on average, or face eating themselves to death, this property screams for attention. Also given that Las Cristinas can be mined under the current plan for 45-50 years, not including vast blue sky, screams for attention compared to the average mine life of by 7.5 years. Then recognize that Las Cristinas operations will include "positioning" advantages in the world's most prospective and most unexplored greenstone belt.

Here are just a few of the reasons why Las Cristinas is worth far more than many are suggesting. It may take a bidding war, but if one looks beyond simple numbers and the black cloud of history, the potential is enormous, as is the mere premium for size.
