My letter did ask if the SEC "has exonerated all parties". I received essentially the same response as you, which answered nothing. I sent a second letter to my legislators advising that the SEC had not answered my questions. I asked additional questions but have not heard back. I personally feel we should persevere for some accountability from the SEC.

Just a point to consider. I was a stockholder in a company (Summit Technology -- BEAM) which was investigated by the SEC. The Founder and CEO, and top management were accused of insider trading. Although the company is still in existance, the CEO was fired and three class action suits have been filed against him and the company. There are also fraud charges filed against at least the CEO. I lost a bundle on the insider trading but, guess what, the SEC did not halt their trading.

My point is, what criteria does the SEC use to halt trading. Seems kind of loose to me.

Best regards,

Del Parker
