In return, the institute will get founding shares in startups with the potential to boost its endowment. versantventures.com From Private Equity Week 5/23 Accelerator Corp. has been formed by a $15 million investment from MPM Capital, ARCH Venture Partners, Versant Ventures, Alexandria Real Estate Equities Inc. and the Institute for Systems Biology (ISB). The Seattle-based collaborative effort will identify, finance and develop life sciences-related ideas and technologies that either emerge from ISB or, if developed elsewhere, would benefit from affiliation with the ISB's faculty, staff, infrastructure and core facilities.
