The Japanese were/are a country, not terrorists. Yes and my point still stands. You can win the inital battle without achieving any of your long term aims, whether you are a terrorist or a country. That's about as funny a statement as I have heard. I suppose the goal of a cook is not food? The goal of the cook is food, not heating a stove at a certain temperature and adding certain ingredients to the pot. I know it's hard for you to swallow, but you must admit that 9/11 has created change in this country. You admit that, right? Yes but not changes that help out Al-Qaida achieve any of their aims. The destruction of 9/11 and the economic after effects hurt us and in that sense helped Al-Qaida, but it didn't hurt us enough to make us weak or scare us away. Well I will admit Al Qaida did achieve one of their aims. The US will be pulling out of Saudi, but only because we don't need to be there anymore now that the threat from Saddam is eliminated. Tim
