He attacked Iran because we gave our tacit approval. Any evidence for that one? Yes, Rummie's visit to Iraq in the early '80s. We gave him assistance after the invasion because we wanted to keep Iran from overrunning a big chunk of Iraq but we didn't approve anything before the attack. Reagan/Bush helped him all thru the '80s right up to the Gulf War. Remember the Congressional hearing I posted on the subject. ted
