I find it remarkable that Dean is being painted as the "left's" favorite, while in reality Dean ran Vermont from the middle of the road True, lol! What scares the GOP is that this attack blows up as people become familiar with Dean's record. Even worse for the neocon Cabal who want an all-powerful central gov't is that Dean's gun control record is better than Bush's. This causes NRA lobbyists fits. They're paid to claim Bush is doing "good things" for their constituency, yet gun control bills are coming down the pike that are anathema to these self-described "libertarian/conservative" sellouts. Deam's commonsense reactions to the GOP march to the all-powerful fascist gov't are hard to dismiss, such as letting the states determine the policies that are not the purview of the federal gov't.
