I am in the position of someone who thinks that being gay is a mistake, but not one over which most gays have control. There does not seem to be reason to make life more difficult because they are gay, but, on the other hand, there is no reason to pretend that there is not something amiss. It is a great mistake to treat reasonable beliefs as if they are prejudices, insofar as people mostly operate on an assumed morality. At least, reasonable beliefs ought to be the subject of reasonable discussion, not pc nonsense. Ordinarily, someone's sexual orientation is not my business, but issues like gay marriage make it my business.......
