The Alliance and the Bloc are not rump parties. The Bloc is a regional party and intends to stay that way. The Alliance is a national party and has a platform that does not discriminate against any region, but protects provincial rights. Although the Bloc will never form a federal government; it is not their intent. I am not sure if the Alliance will ever offer a national alternative, but I would probably change my vote if that ever happened. That's bass ackwards. The message to PC/NDP/Bloc voters is "If you never change your vote, they will never form a national alternative." -g
