<<duh!>> then why are you having problems with the contention that coverage increases volume? my point, which is fairly obvious, is that additional coverage (especially if it differs from the current investor sentiment on the stock) will increase volume, as well as the number of individual and institutional investors willing to look at the company's stock. i don't think it's that difficult of a concept and find it hard to understand why you desire to argue about the premise. if you have too much time on your hands, look for some research on the subject....
