ShopKo Stores Signs Online Debit Processing Agreement with National Processing Company

LOUISVILLE, Ky., Aug. 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- National Processing Company, LLC. (NPC®), a leading provider of merchant credit and debit card processing and a wholly owned subsidiary of National Processing, Inc. (NYSE: NAP), announced the signing of a multi-year online debit processing agreement with ShopKo Stores, Inc. (NYSE: SKO). Under the terms of the agreement, NPC will provide single-point settlement via NPC's MultiLink® platform for online debit transactions accepted at ShopKo's retail stores. NPC currently provides authorization and settlement services for all of ShopKo's MasterCard® and VISA® transactions.

In addition, NPC has been named ShopKo Vendor of the Year.
