Peter,

I guess a person can use AXC as a trading vehicle at this range to try all types of theories. AXC is solid at this price (6 1/2), but can run up to 7 1/2 without any problem or drop back into the 5 1/2 area on weakness. A person can play all types of games here and nip it a little at a time to build up a little profit. Of course, he/she will need to trade large blocks of shares to take care of the commissions involved in buying and selling the stock to follow the swings back and forth.

I am just watching the stock go up and down continually and am not making any money. Smile when up, depressed when down. Hoping and waiting to recover when price is down. Happy when the stock is above my combined/averaged price. None of the losses are real unless I bail out. It would be a better idea if I had a plan of action to take when the market is in an "old hum" situation as it is now. Just take advantage of these swings in the stock as it waits for the high tech sector to recover to normal. Only risk is if I jump out at the wrong time and the stock takes off again. (AXC back to the $10 range)

Charlie is right. AXC is no risk at this level. It becomes a different game when it reaches into the $12 - $14 range. Still no reason a long holder can't make a little money while waiting for the stock to make it's move. Just don't get out of it 100%.
