Is it a matter of indifference if most people, most of the time, pursue a basic education. Would it be just as well if most people, most of the time, were practically illiterate and very ignorant of basic knowledge?

Is it better if most people, most of the time, were considerate of others? Or would rudeness be a better rule for social intercourse?

Is it better if most of the time the will of the majority were respected, rather than overridden by judges? Or would it be better to have most decisions made in court, without direct accountability to the electorate?

These are a few of the issues I have discussed where I alleged some rules. They seem to me plainly ripe for such treatment. Can you think of something where I insisted on a rule where it is pretty clearly a matter of indifference?
