Vic, CERN is a weak competitor of HBOC. I suggest using HBOC for financial comparisons: PE, PS, growth, etc. Both offer HCI Systems to hospitals and have grown very rapidly in the 90s. CERN stumbled a couple of years ago, but appears to be back on track, in the latest quarterly report. The PE is high, but with the aging population, healthcare is considered by many to be a good long term investment. In a downturn, CERN would be the one to short, but I would avoid them now.
Regards, Bill
