I think it is better that children are raised by only those
well qualified to do so and who want them enough to make the sacrifices.

I would say that you fit the first half of that equation wonderfully, and it is a shame that some children were deprived of the opportunity to have you for amother. And a shame that society doesn't get the benefit of children raised by you.
