Means, motive, opportunity

Find out who gains, and that will be your list of suspects.

If it is suspected to be Israel or the Bush regime, one clue is to look at pending legislation or poll numbers that could be most affected.

If there is something to be gained by muslim extremists there should be lots of clues, before and after.

If there's nothing of that sort, then it could be the most unlikely of things, a "random" bombing.
