He isn't arguing that everyone will or might become gay. He was primarily arguing that homosexuality is a deviation from the norm and that it was something a majority would not want to be the norm. The thought experiment about everyone being homosexual was not a prediction of the future but just an illustration that homosexuality is not the norm and an argument for the idea that it would not be good if was. Or at least that is my take on his statements.
