I adore that book.

Read it multiple times when I was in high school, had bright orange covers as I recall. Lost track of it when my father moved out of the house, just a year or two ago tried to buy it again, but out of print, so had to settle for a second hand paperback, which isn't nearly as nice to read as the original was, but it's still fun.

Though as with most such books, I do enjoy it but can't see why I was quite so wild about it then. Same with I Capture the Castle, Cluny Brown, and others of that ilk that I wore out in high school but don't have the same impact on me now.

Hmmm . . . do you suppose my tastes have matured??
