Turns out TEXAS lost the most jobs in the latest economic reports. How is employment there? Its hell here, I actually think California has a 20% unemployment rate in real terms, and those that are working have taken a large pay cut. Are you working?
We need to start calling Bush what he is: An unmitigated disaster. I live in Oregon where unemployment is highest in the nation...that is among those who are counted because they collect unemployment. Word among college grads is there are no jobs; they've never been a part of the market to be counted as unemployed. What are people supposed to do? They're asking the same question in Iraq where unemployment skyrocketed after Bush freed them. They had free education and whatever medical care was available. What safety nets do we have here? NONE. The sad thing is 90 percent of people who qualify for public assistance in CA don't apply for it...pride, most likely lack of knowledge keep them from applying. But once one starts, it will snowball because these people don't have jobs or any hope of getting them.
