Don't have a bias adjuster on this car yet. Will be getting one. Main thing right now is making adjustments to the nut behind the wheel. Gradually exploring the car's new braking limits, which are WAY beyond what they used to be.

Once I do that and get decent shocks on the car, I think it'll finally be ready for more horsepower. Fortunately the first 100 or so extra horses are comparatively inexpensive on a car like this.

Few cars make any ground on me in the turns anymore. Far fewer are getting me on braking now and their numbers will decrease as I get used to the new limits. Plenty get me on acceleration and top speed, though, especially at these Mustang-centric gatherings.

Something I thought was kinda funny was that I spent a lot of time talking to a guy next to me in the paddock who had an 85. He was consistently able to reel me in although the last time he did it, I hung with him really good in the turns and saw he was only marginally quicker through them (better tires) but was leaving me on the straights. Had him easily on braking (he was still running rear drums)

The funny part was that he said it was the stock 85 engine (comparatively low on horsepower) with no changes other than exhaust. And running 3.08 gears (compared to my 3.73's).

What made the statement funny was that he was outgunning me on the straights.

What made it funnier was hearing the very distinctive and pronounced cam lope when he forgot to keep up the ruse and left it idling a bit too long on the trailer.
