Scott,

My favorite speaker was Dennis Kucinich. I like his 'fire in the belly' rhetorical flourishes. He's ideal on labor issues. Repealing NAFTA, WTO and Taft-Hartley would all meet with my approval.

Kerry was dignified, though I was surprised when he got a bit choked up at the start of his closing remarks. That little bit of apparent stagefright was interesting. And I did think his zinger about Bush trickling down on America was my favorite line of the evening.

Howard Dean was, IMHO, a nice blend of both dignity and digs. He's still my favorite as a viable candidate, though I wonder at the depth of his organization, and whether he can effectively muscle the fat-heads in the DLC and control the Party apparatus which has largely been stolen by corporados from the Democratic base.

*********
Of course, all this early internecine squabbling must be terribly amusing to those who might just be sidestepping this "seven dwarves" show and let the party machinery bring 'em on later. Gore, Hillary and Wesley Clark are all still viable "deus ex machina" candidates.
