HUF-Shares of Huffy Corp. (HUF: news, chart, profile) added almost 12 percent following news that individual Daniel Gilbert and private investment group Camelot Ventures have acquired 5.23 percent of the sporting goods maker. Combined, Gilbert and Camelot own 768,900 Huffy shares, according to a filing with the SEC. The filing also said the group plans to encourage Huffy to explore its strategic alternatives. Gilbert is the founder and chairman of mortgage lender Quicken Loans, and he's a primary partner in Camelot along with David Katzman. Gilbert made a cash offer last December to acquire Rawlings, which was ultimately snapped up by K2
