Would be interesting to learn what CALIFORNIANS on this thread have to say about current state of Politics in California. Personally, I would find it EMBARASSING. On the one hand you got probably the WORST POLITICIAN in AMERICA as the Govenor. He is a crook of the worst kind and has raped the state. On the other hand you got every Kook in the state running for the office. Its very likely, unless a big name like Diane Fienstien or Arnold S. runs someone will probably win with a SMALL MINORITY of the total votes and that someone may be highly UNQUALIFIED. What that state needs in my judgement is a STRONG DOSE OF CONSERVATISM but that AINT LIKELY. jdn
