Could this have any signifciant effect upon Rambus? Yes! If they need the Rambus interface to memory, it spells even better news to Rambus! I'm trying to think of what would stand in the way of Rambus right now, and I'll be hanged if I can. There isn't even a pinch of competition now, and their clients actually have a vested interest in their success by virtue of their capital outlays to manufacturer their Rambus components. It's such a brilliant business strategy. No wonder Mr. Gates had to buy in. If anyone can see a gray cloud in this picture, please chime in. We need a balance of views.
