well I have 2 issues with Bush, first of all, to combat this offshore threat, we need to make the US workers (or any industrialized country really) more competitive, and in my view that means removing the payroll tax. The payroll tax alone is an indian programmer's salary. When you are competing globally in this way, we cannot have a tax structure like this that penalizes workers. Bush might have been able to do something here with a tax cut but he shot his wad on that awful dividend tax cut which helps nobody except old cronies who care about dividends. A dividend tax cut in no way helps growth companies, for sure, which is where the jobs are.

Second, Bush went to war and we the citizens continue to pay for this fiasco. So fiscally, we have the largest deficit ever and no way to combat the offshore threat. This is entirely Bush's doing, very bad policy.

oh and look, what do you know another market correction.
